2012 Brampton Excelsiors Junior Field Lacrosse

The Brampton Excelsiors Lacrosse Club will be entering two teams into the Ontario Junior Men’s Field Lacrosse League for the 2012 season. Below is some info you will require if you are interested in trying out this year.

The Tryouts will be held at the Creditview Lacrosse Fields as per the schedule below.
The cost to tryout is onetime fee of $20.

Monday Aug 20th 7:00 pm to 9 pm on Lax 2 Field
Wednesday Aug 22nd 7:00 pm to 9m pm on Lax 2 Field

Sunday Aug 26th Exhibition games (Team Ontario, Team Alberta and Team Iroquois) 9 am to 6 pm on Lax 1 Field

Monday Aug 27th 7 pm to 9 pm on Lax 2 Field • We are planning to enter two teams in the OJMFLL. The Division 1 team will be picked at the last tryouts and the Division 2 team will be then picked.

Each Athlete will need to fill out an additional OLA form to be able to participate in the Ontario Junior Men’s Field Lacrosse League. Please bring a copy of the athlete’s birth certificate to TRYOUTS. The form needs to be completed and signed at this time by the participant or by a parent if the athlete is a minor. Age requirement is 1993 birth year and younger.

The tentative hosting weekends is as follows:

Sunday Sept 9th Host – Kitchener
Sunday Sept 16th Host – Brampton
Sunday Sept 23rd Host – Brampton
Sunday Sept 30tht Host – Oshawa and London
Sunday Oct 14th Host – Oshawa, Beaches and Wallaceburg
Sunday Oct 21st Host – Orangeville and Niagara
Saturday & Sunday Oct 27th and 28th Host –Mississauga
